Interested in Becoming a Red Cross Disaster Volunteer?

 

Individuals can receive necessary training to respond to local disasters by participating in our free upcoming Disaster College courses.

 

Disaster College courses will be held on the following dates:

Fulfilling Our Mission: September 7 in Cedar Rapids; September 28 in Waterloo; October 5 in Iowa City. This course prepares participates to help serve others affected by a disaster. Register Here

Mass Care Overview: September 8 in Cedar Rapids; October 7 in Waterloo; October 7 in Iowa City. This course provides an overview of the activities performed in a disaster relief operation. Register Here

Client Casework: September 13 and 15 in Cedar Rapids (both dates mandatory); October 12 and 14 in Iowa City (both dates mandatory) and October 23 in Waterloo. This course prepares Red Cross employees and volunteers in working with individual families suffering from a disaster. Register Here
