These dedicated Red Cross donors play an enduring role in assuring that help will be available whenever and wherever it is needed. Henry Dunant was the humanitarian whose efforts and writing led to the first Geneva Convention, and started the International Red Cross Movement.

The Clara Barton Society honors Americans who share her commitment to helping others through generous gifts of $1,000 or more in one year. These gifts set an example for others who share concern for those in need of Red Cross services who have nowhere else to turn.

The Clara Barton Society recognizes giving at four levels:

• Pacesetter’s Club ($10,000 to $24,999)
• Sponsor’s Club ($5,000 to $9,999)
• Friend’s Club ($1,000 to $4,999)

• Visionary ($750 to $999)
